Duncan regularly uses his industry knowledge and experience to bring real world marketing examples into the teaching environment. This was greatly appreciated by the students at the time. Especially those postgraduate students who were already in marketing management positions in business, and who needed these examples to help them apply what they learned back into their own work situation.

Due to the success of Adept Research over recent years, Duncan Buchanan now only teaches market research on a casual basis from time to time.
